Die Vorlesung gehört zum Bereich 3 ([nationales] öffentliches Wirtschaftsrecht Besondere Teil) des Schwerpunktbereichs 4 (Öffentliches Wirtschaftsrecht in der EU) und dient insbesondere der Vermittlung von Kenntnissen, die in der Schwerpunktbereichsprüfung gefordert sind. Sie behandelt wichtige Einzelmaterien des öffentlichen Wirtschaftsrechts. Dazu zählen klassische Gebiete des Besonderen Wirtschaftsverwaltungsrechts wie das Gewerbe-, Gaststätten- und Handwerksrecht, aber auch aktuelle Rechtsgebiete wie das Telekommunikations- und Energiewirtschaftsrecht
Es besteht die Möglichkeit, im Anschluss an die Vorlesung eine Schwerpunktbereichs-Hausarbeit zu schreiben.
