The main purpose of this seminar is to make sure that students have the ability to form grammatically acceptable sentences and that they understand how the selection of appropriate grammar and word choices arise from the context and situation, as well as the speaker's/writer's intended communicative objectives.
The course will provide an overview of the grammatical structure of the English language. The special difficulties of German learners will be the primary focus of our discussion and will form the most important basis for the various exercises and practice activities that we will engage in.
You must have passed the departmental Entrance Test or one of the recognized eqivalents to take part in this course.
