The goal of this course is to ensure that students are able to express themselves approriately, correctly and with assurance in conversations, classroom discussions, and other situations of everyday personal and professional life.
There will be intensive pronunciation practice with special attention to the difficulties of German native speakers. Students will also have a variety of opportunities to further develop their speaking ability so that they can participate in a range of situations in idiomatic English that is both flexible and appropriate.
You must have passed the departmental Entrance Test or a recognized equivalent.
Will be provided in class and via the Internet.

The requirements for successful completion of this course are that you participate in at least 10 of the oral activities that will take place in the classroom ( including conversations, role plays, interviews and brief presentations).There is also a required personal interview and pronunciation check.
There is a one Module Examination for all the Language Practice courses. (Basismodul 1)
