Gegenstand dieses Seminares sind ausgewählte Phänomen der deutschen Gegenwartssprache. Fokussiert werden sollen vorzugsweise grammatische Konstruktionen der gesprochenen Sprache und grammatisch Besonderheiten der computervermittelten/digitalen Kommunikation.

Das Seminar ist so konzipiert, dass jede Sitzung aus theoretischen und praktischen Unterrichtseinheiten besteht. Ich lege Wert darauf, dass auf Wünsche seitens der Studierendenschaft eingegangen wird, sodass der genaue Semesterplan in Absprache mit den Studierenden erstellt wird.

Ein weiteres Ziel, das dieses Seminar verfolgt, ist das Vermitteln von Schlüsselkompetenzen: neben Techniken des wissenschaftlichen Schreibens gehört in der Linguistik vor allem das empirische Arbeiten (Fragebogen-Studien, Korpus-Recherchen) hinzu.
Aus diesem Grunde bietet es sich an, am Ende des Seminares eine empirisch ausgerichtete Hausarbeit zu einem passenden Thema anzufertigen.
