Colloquium sessions take place either in a “hybrid mode” or via zoom. In the former case, talks are given live with the audience on site, but they are also transmitted into the digital space and can be attended online.

Die Veranstaltung ist Teil des Masterstudiengangs ISoS (Interdisciplinary Studies of Science) und zugleich das Institutskolloquium des I2SoS (Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies of Science). Das IsoS/I2SoS-Kolloquium bietet ein Forum für Masterstudierende zur Präsentation ihrer Masterarbeit und stellt zugleich eine Plattform für den interdisziplinären Austausch in der Wissenschaftsforschung dar. Inhaltlich steht die historische, philosophische und sozialwissenschaftliche Reflexion von Wissenschaft im Vordergrund. Das Kolloquium umfasst Vorträge von Bielefelder Wissenschaftsforscher*innen sowie Vorträge auswärtiger, nationaler und internationaler Expert*inen.

This seminar is part of the master’s program ISoS (Interdisciplinary Studies of Science) and at the same time the research forum of the I2SoS (Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies of Science). It provides an opportunity for master students to present their master’s theses and it is a platform for interdisciplinary exchange in science studies. In topical respect, the IsoS/I2SoS-colloquium focuses on reflecting the sciences from a historical, philosophical, and social-studies perspective. The colloquium combines talks by local researchers with talks by invited, national and international experts.
