Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, eng an der Praxis orientiert, einen "Rundum"-Einblick in den Anfangsunterricht zu geben.
Dabei stehen die organisatorischen Dinge des bevorstehenden ersten Schuljahres und die ersten Schultage (u.a. auch Schulanmeldung, Elternabend, Einrichtung des Klassenraums, Gestalten des ersten Schultages, Rhytmitisierung des Schulalltags... ) in dem Vordergrund.
Es werden darüber hinaus erste Einblicke und Denkanstöße zu den Lernvoraussetzungen (Lernausgangslage) der Kinder und mögliche Diagnostische Verfahren gegeben.
Ideen und Möglichkeiten, wie Sozial- Arbeits- und offene Unterrichtsformen umgesetzt werden können, werden ebenso angesprochen (Entwicklung grundlegender Kompetenzen).
