Dieses Projektmodul soll interessierten Studierenden mit Grundkenntnissen in Bioinformatik Einblick in deren konkrete Anwendung bei Management und Analyse größerer Datenmengen geben. Die Themen ergeben sich aus den aktuell am Lehrstuhl bearbeiteten Projekten im Bereich der strukturellen, funktionellen und vergleichenden Genomanalyse bei Pflanzen. Ein zugeordneter Betreuer überwacht die einzelnen Schritte und leistet bei auftretenden Schwierigkeiten Hilfestellung. Ziel des Moduls ist es, das eigenständige Bearbeiten einer Aufgabe im Spannungsfeld von Genomforschung und Bioinformatik zu üben und so auf eine Bachelor- oder Masterarbeit in den Studiengängen BIG oder NWI vorzubereiten. Für diese Veranstaltung findet keine Vorbesprechung statt. Themen und Termine werden individuell vereinbart.
