Der Kurs zielt durch Übung der vier Sprachfertigkeiten (Lesen, Sprechen, Schreiben, Hören) auf die Verbesserung der kommunikativen Kompetenz ab. Zudem dient der Kurs dazu die bereits in A1.1 erworbenen Grundkenntnisse zu erweitern.
Der Kurs soll dazu führen die Studierende dazu zu befähigen, Sätze und häufig gebrauchte Ausdrücke zu verstehen, und sich in einfachen, routinemäßigen Situationen verständigen zu können, in denen es um einen einfachen und direkten Austausch von Informationen über vertraute und geläufige Dinge geht. Durch einen handlungsorientierten Ansatz sollen die Studierenden lernen im Alltag gebräuchliche Kommunikative Herausforderungen zu bewältigen.
