Das Seminar baut auf den im Modul „Politische Soziologie“ erworbenen Grundlagen auf. Leitfragen sind beispielsweise: Was sind Grundbegriffe und Konzepte der politischen Kommunikation? Wie und mit welchen Perspektiven kann man politische Kommunikation analysieren? Welche Rolle spielen Medien und Öffentlichkeit, öffentliche Verwaltung, Parteien und soziale Bewegungen in der Kommunikation von (und über) Politik? Gemeinsam erarbeiten wir theoretische Ansätze, wenden diese auf aktuelle Fälle an und diskutieren die Stärken und Schwächen häufiger Erklärungsmuster und -ansätze.
