300190 Causal Inferenced (S) (WiSe 2022/2023)

Contents, comment

Unfortunately there is a typo in the title announcement of the seminar.
However, this seminars basic concern will be causality and causal inference, which are central to the understanding of data and for doing science. We will focus on the methods for teasing out causal information from data, on predicting the effects of interventions and on reasoning counterfactually. All this will be done in a systematic way, following the short book of Judea Pearl and his collaborators.
