Ausgehend von Schuberts Liederzyklus "Winterreise" op. 89 D911 sollen Kontexte der Entstehung des Werks erarbeitet und neue Vermittlungsformen für das Werk reflektiert werden. Dabei sollen Bezüge zur historischen Lebenswelt 1827 sowie heute hergestellt werden, indem kultur- und musikwissenschaftliche Perspektiven mit kulturvermittelnden Aspekten verknüpft werden. Das Seminar ist als Werkstatt / Projekt angelegt.

Das Seminar ist als Werkstatt / Projekt geplant und wird durch die aktive Gestaltung der Teilnehmenden in Struktur und Inhalten beeinflusst.
Als Studienleistung können erbracht werden: Referate, Moderation von Teilen einer Seminarsitzung, kurze Essays.
Darüber hinaus wird erwartet, dass zwischen den Seminaren die Zeit für Recherchen oder Übungsaufgaben genutzt wird. Dazu gehört das Anfertigen einer themenorientierten Literaturliste oder eines Thesenpapiers zu relevanten Theorien und Methoden, eine Argumentrekonstruktion, oder die Zusammenfassung eines Textes im Umfang von ca. 15.000 Zeichen oder mündliche Beiträge in einem Umfang von ca. 20 Minuten.
