Die Sprachdidaktik befasst sich inhaltlich mit einer Ebene der linguistischen Sprachanalyse und Sprachreflexion, die für die Grundschule besonders relevant ist, nämlich der Entwicklung mündlicher und schriftlicher Sprachkompetenzen, auch in Auseinandersetzung mit den Textsorten des Erzählens, Beschreibens und Erklärens.
