Nähere Informationen erfolgen rechtzeitig vor Seminarbeginn.Das Seminar vermittelt über die gemeinsame Lektüre relevanter Arbeiten und an authentischen Beispielen aus der aktuellen Forschungspraxis Kenntnisse zu ausgewählten Methoden der qualitativen empirischen Linguistik.
Anhand des Entwurfs eigener kleiner Projekte lernen die Seminarteilnehmer*innen die Voraussetzungen, Fragestellungen, Vorgehensweisen und Ergebnisse der verschiedenen Methoden einzuschätzen und in das Spektrum der linguistischen Forschungsmethoden allgemein einzuordnen.

Die Seminarteilnehmer*innen entwickeln eigene kleine empirische Projekte und wenden darin die im Seminar besprochenen Methoden exemplarisch an. Die Methoden werden im Anschluss in Form von kurzen Methodenreflexionen zusammengefasst. Zusammen mit Ergebnissen aus den Gruppenarbeitsphasen entsteht so veranstaltungsbegleitend ein Portfolio. Dieses dient als Vorbereitung für die benotete Modulabschlussprüfung, die als schriftliche Ausarbeitung im Umfang von 6-8 Seiten erfolgt und eine der dokumentierten Methoden an einem Datenbeispiel genauer darstellt.
