Das Seminar vermittelt einen Überblick in Themen der Angewandten Sozialpsychologie. Hierzu werden zahlreiche Gastdozent*innen einen Einblick in ihre Forschung und den akademischen Werdegang liefern. So soll die Vielfalt der Themengebiete und Perspektiven der angewandten Sozialpsychologie aufgezeigt und illustriert werden. Die Sitzungen mit Gastbeiträgen sind durch Literaturstudium und Formulierung von Diskussionsfragen für die Referent*innen vorzubereiten und durch kurze Essays nachzubereiten.

Zur Erreichung der Lernziele und für die Vergabe von Leistungspunkten sind folgende Anforderungen mit dem Webinar verbunden:

- eine regelmäßige, aktive und themenfokussierte Teilnahme an Diskussionen im Plenum und in Kleingruppen
- die aktive Teilnahme an interaktiven Lernformen

Eine aktive Teilnahme umfasst darüber hinaus pro Sitzung der Veranstaltung zumindest einen der untenstehenden Aktivitäten, die im Webinar bzw. in Heimarbeit vorzubereiten sind:
- das Lesen von (zumeist) englischsprachiger Forschungsliteratur
- schriftliche Kurzzusammenfassungen des Gelesenen
- kurze Essays zur Vor- oder Nachbereitung einer Einheit
- Selbstständige Recherche zu einem Themengebiet
- Teilnahme an Gruppen oder Einzelarbeiten während des Seminars
- aktive Diskussionsteilnahme bei Gastreferent*innen-Vorträgen
