Die Themen Liebe, Sexualität und Partnerschaft sind in vielen Feldern der sozialen und pädagogischen Arbeit präsent. Vor allem die konflikthaften Dimensionen sexueller Entwicklung und Erfahrungen fordern die fachliche Kompetenz von Pädagog(inn)en.
Im Seminar setzen wir uns mit Konzepten und Methoden der Beratungs- und Aufklärungsarbeit auseinander. Dabei werden sowohl die spezifischen Problemlagen von „KlientInnen“ als auch das der Beratung zugrundliegende Menschenbild thematisiert.
In diesem Kontext findet auch der gesellschaftliche Diskurs zum Spannungsfeld Sexualität und soziale Arbeit Berücksichtigung.
Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte bilden: AIDS-Prävention und Sexualpädagogik,
Sexualberatung, aufsuchende Beratung von (Beschaffungs-) Prostituierten und Beratung von Opfern und Tätern sexualisierter Gewalt.
Im Seminar wird die praktische (sozial-) pädagogische Arbeit der AIDS-Hilfe Bielefeld und anderer psychosozialer Beratungsstellen vorgestellt, reflektiert und diskutiert.
