239624 "Disaster": Literatur- und Sozialwissenschaft unter der Perspektive von Performance (S) (WiSe 2011/2012)

Diese Veranstaltung ist ein interdisziplinär angelegtes Projekt mit dem Ziel, wissenschaftliche Produkte (Texte, Transkripte, Aufzeichnungen, Vorträge etc.) künstlerisch zu bearbeiten und anschließend im Rahmen einer Performance aufzuführen. Den thematischen Rahmen für diese Veranstaltung stellen u.a. Beiträge aus der gegenwärtigen Katastrophenforschung.
Dabei sollen insbesondere Neuorientierungen in der Literaturwissenschaft und methodologische Prämissen der qualitativen Sozialforschung einfließen, dazu gehören:
(1) Text und plurimediale Aufführung
(2) Inszeniertheit und Theatralisierung
(3) Affinität mit Ritualen, Zeremonien und anderen Handlungsschemata
(4) von telling zum showing oder showing off
(5) Vermischen der Relationen zwischen "Aufführenden" und "Publikum"
(6) Flüchtigkeit von sozialer Wirklichkeit, Datenanreicherung, Reflexivität
Die TeilnehmerInnen werden mit literatischen und journalistischen Texten, theatralem Spiel und Inszenierungsmethoden experimentieren und erkunden so die Schnittstelle von Kuknst und Wissenschaft. Zusätzlich unterstützt werden die KurzteilnehmerInnen von zwei künstlerisch tätigen Performern (Frau Eva-Maria Gauss und Herr Pedro Tivadar). Kernelemente der Veranstaltung sind die Analyse von Texten und Transkripten, Körperarbeit, Improvisationen mit Objekten und räumlichen Settings.

Kreative (z.B. schriftstellerische, theaterpädagosische, filmische, musikalische) Vorerfahrungen sind hilfreich, jedoch nicht zwingend.
