In diesem Kurs werden wir uns mit der computationalen Modellierung von
Diskursen, also von Texten und Textmengen, beschäftigen. Wir werden
uns hauptsächlich auf ein recht einfaches, aber sehr effektives Modell
konzentrieren, welches in dem Bereich des Information Retrievals, also der
Extraktion von Informationen aus Textmengen, große Bedeutung erlangt
hat: das sog. Vector Space Modell.Die zentrale Lektüre in dem Kurs wird das Buch "Introduction to
Information Retrieval" von Christopher Manning, Prabhakar Raghavan und
Hinrich Schütze sein (Cambridge University Press, 2008). (Eine
