Die Veranstaltung "Sprachwandel" führt ein in die wissenschaftliche Analyse von Sprachwandel. An einzelsprachlichen Beispielen wird ein Überblick über die Formen und Ebenen von Sprachwandel gegeben, anhand aktueller Theorien werden Gründe und Mechanismen des Sprachwandels und verschiedene Methoden zur Erforschung von Sprachwandel vorgestellt.

Regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme an den Seminarsitzungen und Diskussionen.
Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung kann die modulübergreifende benotete Einzelleistung (Hausarbeit 20-25 Seiten, altes Studienmodell) bzw. die Modulprüfung (mündliche Prüfung von 30 Min. oder schriftliche Hausarbeit von 15 Seiten) erbracht werden.
