"Schulschwänzen" ist ein Phänomen, das aktuell unter bildungs-, sozial- und ordnungspolitischen Gesichtspunkten, aber auch im Hinblick auf das "Lebenslange Lernen", breit diskutiert wird. Synonym zum Begriff "Schulschwänzen" finden sich aber auch Begriffe wie "Schulmüde", "Schulabstinent" oder "Schulverweigerung". Im Seminar wird es, neben der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit den Begriffen und dem damit verbundenen "negativen Image", darum gehen, theoretische und empirische Texte rund um dieses Themenfeld zu bearbeiten. Zudem sollen Konzepte vorgestellt und diskutiert werden, mit denen sich die Hoffnung verbindet, Schulschwänzen zu minimieren.Die Bescheinigung einer Studienleistung erfolgt u.a. durch die Gestaltung einzelner Seminarsitzungen durch Diskussionsmoderation, Kurzinputs oder Präsentationen mit schriftlicher Ausarbeitung.
