In den letzten Jahren wird in der Forschung verstärkt versucht, die Theorien, Methoden und Erkenntnisse der Neurophysiologie für die Literaturwissenschaft zu nutzen. Jüngstes Beispiel ist das von Raoul Schrott und Arthur Jacobs gemeinsam verfasste Buch "Gehirn und Gedicht". Das Seminar wird einzelne Kapitel dieses Buchs einer genauen Textlektüre unterziehen, um die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen des neurophysiologischen Erklärungsansatzes zu diskutieren.
Requirements for participation, required level

Komplette Lektüre des Buchs von Raoul Schrott und Arthur Jacobs, "Gehirn und Gedicht", vor Beginn der Veranstaltung. Kenntnis wird durch einen Eingangstest am Anfang des Semesters überprüft.
Jeder Teilnehmer muss ein vollständiges Exemplar dieses Buches im Seminar zur Verfügung haben (Kauf, Kopie etc.)!
