Die Vierteljahreszeitschrift „Die Kreatur“, herausgegeben von dem Sozialphilosophen Martin Buber, dem Theologen Joseph Wittig und dem Arzt Viktor von Weizsäcker, war in der Zeit zwischen den beiden Weltkriegen ein bedeutsamer interkultureller und interdisziplinärer „Gesprächs-Raum“. Zu den Mitarbeitern dieser Zeitschrift gehörten u.a.: Franz Rosenzweig, Margret Susman, Eugen Rosenstock, Florens Christian Rang, Rudolph Ehrenberg und Walter Benjamin. „Zur Sprache“ kamen nicht zuletzt auch individual-pädagogische und sozial-pädagogische Probleme, die heute nichts an Aktualität eingebüßt haben. Die entsprechenden Zeitschriftenbeiträge können im Internet (compact memory die kreatur) gelesen und herunter geladen werden.
Nach jeweiliger Einführung und Kontextualisierung durch den Dozenten und nach Vorbereitung (Referate / Hausarbeiten) der Studierenden sollen im gemeinsamen Gespräch die Themenbereiche: „dialogische Pädagogik“ (M. Buber und F. Rosenzweig), „narrative Pädagogik“ (J. Wittig und W. Benjamin) sowie „Heilung aus der Begegnung“ (H. Trüb und V. von Weizsäcker) bearbeitet werden.
