Sie promovieren im Fach Geschichtswissenschaft und benötigen für Ihre Arbeit umfangreiche Forschungsliteratur und Quellenmaterial, dabei ist Ihnen die Arbeit in der Bibliothek, die Recherche z.B. im Bibliothekskatalog "an sich" vertraut. Die Veranstaltung stellt Ihnen das für Historiker relevante fachspezifische Informationsangebot der Bibliothek vor, um Ihnen die Recherche nach Literatur und Informationen für Ihr Forschungsvorhaben zu erleichtern:Sie erhalten einen Überblick über bibliographische und Volltextdatenbanken, das Datenbankinformationssystem DBIS, elektronische Zeitschriften / das elektronische Zeitschriftenarchiv JSTOR, relevante freie Internetangebote.Außerdem werden Dienstleistungen der Bibliothek kurz vorgestellt, die das Leben - hoffentlich - leichter machen, wie z.B. Dokumentlieferung und Anschaffungsvorschlag, die Dissertation elektronisch publizieren, Informationen über den UB-Newsletter beziehen.
