Blockseminar 19.-21. Januar 2007 in Vlotho; Vorbereitungstreffen (für alle verpflichtend) am 15. Dez. 2006, 18-21 Uhr in der Universität Bielefeld
Ein Oktett für je zwei Hackbretter, Monochorde, Radleiern und Tennisschläger, komponiert und uraufgeführt im Jahr 2007? In dem Blockseminar "Chordophonie" werden zunächst aus einfachsten Materialien Saiteninstrumente hergestellt und erprobt. Originale historische Chordophone aus der umfassenden Vlothoer Musikinstrumentensammlung dienen einerseits zur Orientierung beim Instrumentenbau, andererseits werden sie im musikpraktischen Teil des Seminars eingesetzt, wenn es darum geht, in ungewöhnlichen Kompositionen sehr alte und sehr neue Instrumente miteinander zu kombinieren. Interessierte Studierende können einen eigenen Schwerpunkt dieser Veranstaltung auf den Bau und das Spiel solcher Instrumente legen, die im Rahmen schulischer Arbeit besonders gut realisierbar sind.
