Das Seminar thematisiert aus einer Sozialisations- und Jugendperspektive, wie eine nachwachsende Generation auf die zunehmende Krisenhaftigkeit zukünftiger Lebensbedingungen reagiert. Dabei wird die Beschreibung der Generation Greta zum Ausgangspunkt genommen werden. Basislektüre im Seminar wird das gleichnamige Buch sein (https://www.beltz.de/produkt_produktdetails/42926-generation_greta.html). Darüber hinaus werden vielfältige Formen der Literatur, Dokumentationen und empirisches Material verwendet. Die Übergänge von der Klimakrise zu anderen wahrgenommen Krisenwahrnehmungen werden thematisiert (Demokratie-, Finanz-, Corona-Krise) und es wird abschließend das Bild einer Generation Transformation entworfen. Das Seminar wird online synchron (also digital und live zur genannten Zeit) durchgeführt.
