Das Seminar bietet einen spielerisch leichten Einstieg in die Welt der Programmiersprachen. Dazu wird im ersten Drittel die auch für Kinder leicht zu erlernende Programmiersprache LOGO eingeführt. Mit Hilfe einfach zu verstehender Befehle ( z.B. "forward" oder "turn left" ) werden geometrische Figuren wie Rechtecke oder Kreise gezeichnet.
Später folgt dann die Programmiersprache Python, eine professionelle Sprache mit klarer, logischer Syntax. Wir werden z.B. Flugbahnen von Bällen simulieren und als krönenden Abschluss ein einfaches Spiel programmieren.
Ziel ist es, ein Grundverständniss für die Elemente von modernen Programmiersprachen zu erlangen. Dieses erworbene Wissen lässt sich dann auf alle anderen Sprachen transferieren, sei es Matlab, C++ oder Javascript für das Web.

Es gibt keine besonderen Voraussetzungen. Ein eigener Laptop oder ein Netbook wird benötigt. Falls ein Laptop nicht vorhanden ist, bitte gegebenenfalls in 2er-Gruppen organisieren.
