Ziel des Kurses ist eine Erweiterung der in Portugiesisch A2 erworbenen Grundkenntnisse.
Hierbei sollen die vier Fertigkeiten der Sprache geübt werden: Sprechen, Hörverständnis, Leseverständnis und Schreiben.

Bei dieser Veranstaltung ist es möglich, 5 LP zu erwerben. Voraussetzungen dafür sind das Erbringen folgender Studienleistungen:
- die kontinuierliche Bearbeitung von Übungsaufgaben
- mündliche Beteiligung in der Veranstaltung
- acht mündliche Kontrollen von Hörverstehen
- zwei Übungen zur mündlichen Textproduktion
- mindestens drei Übungen zur schriftlichen Textproduktion
sowie das Bestehen der Modulabschlußsprüfung, die gleichzeitig die Zulassung für den darauf aufbauenden Kurs ermöglicht.
Bei diesem Kurs, so wie bei den meisten Kursen des FSZ, besteht Anwesenheitspflicht.
