Wie lassen sich anspruchsvolle Gedankengänge in einem einzigen Satz zuspitzen und kondensieren? Im Seminar werden wir uns gemeinsam um eine Antwort auf diese Frage bemühen. Die Veranstaltung widmet sich deshalb der Geschichte kleiner und pointierter Denkformen von den Sentenzen der französischen Moralisten und den berühmten „Sudelbüchern” Lichtenbergs über die Maximen Goethes und die Aphorismen Nietzsches bis zu den Social Media (Twitter) der Gegenwart.
