230201 Semantik und Pragmatik (S) (WiSe 2006/2007)

Voraussetzung für diesen Kurs ist, dass man einen BA-Kurs "Semantik und Pragmatik" mit gutem Erfolg abgeschlossen hat, über kompositorische Semantik gut Bescheid weiß und mit PL1 umgehen kann. Der MA-Kurs schließt unmittelbar an den Bielefelder BA-Kurs zu diesem Thema an.

Nach einem einführenden Referat über das Semantik-Pragmatik-Interface erfolgt eine Vertiefung im Bereich der eigentlichen Pragmatik. Geplant sind Vorträge der Seminar-TeilnehmerInnen zu folgenden Kerngebieten der Pragmatik:

  • Implikaturen
  • Präsupposition
  • Sprechakte
  • Referenz
  • Deixis
  • Definitheit und Indefinitheit

Die zu referierenden Artikel zu diesen Themen stammen samt und sonders aus dem Handbook of Pragmatics (ed. Horn and Ward), der gegenwärtig präferierten Quelle für das Gebiet Pragmatik und ihre Interfaces.
Falls Zeit bleibt, werden Arbeiten aus den Gebieten "Pragmatik und Diskurs" oder "Pragmatik und ihre Interfaces" besprochen, z.B. "Pragmatics and Intonation". Auf Erstliteratur zur Pragmatik (siehe den Pragmatik-Reader von Davis, Steven (ed.)) wird, falls erforderlich, zurückgegriffen.

Leistung für Teilnahmeschein: Vortrag, "Short Paper".
