Ziel des Seminars ist es, die grammatischen Kenntnisse der angehenden Deutsch-Lehrer/innen im Bereich der Satzanalyse aufzufrischen und zu vertiefen. Ein Großteil der in den Kernlehrplänen vorgesehenen grammatischen Gegenstände bezieht sich unmittelbar auf den Satz. Ausgehend von der sprachlichen Einheit 'Satz' werden im Seminar diverse grammatische Bereiche mit unmittelbarer Relevanz für den Grammatikunterricht behandelt (z.B. syntaktische Kategorien (Wortarten und Wortgruppen), syntaktische Funktionen (Subjekt, Objekt, Prädikativ, Adverbial, Attribut), Flexionskategorien (Kasus, Genus verbi...). Bei der grammatischen Analyse geht es hauptsächlich um die Operationalisierbarkeit der unterschiedlichen Kategorien, d.h. darum, an welchen Kriterien bestimmte Kategorien bzw. Relationen erkannt werden können. Damit soll den Teilnehmer/innen ein ‚Handwerkzeug‘ vermittelt werden, das sie sicher bei der Satzanalyse anwenden können.
