"Effingers" ist ein Berlinroman, ein Familien- und ein Gesellschaftsroman. Der Text erzählt die Geschichte einer Berliner großbürgerlichen jüdischen Familie in den historisch bewegten Zeiten zwischen 1870 und 1948.
Gabriele Tergit, die mit ihrem 1931 erschienenen Debütroman "Käsebier erobert den Kudamm", einen Bestseller landet, wurde 1933 von den Nationalsozialisten aus Berlin vertrieben. Sie floh zunächst nach Tschechien und später nach Palästina - das Manuskript, an dem sie arbeitete und das später unter dem TItel "Effingers" erscheinen sollte, immer im Gepäck. Als der Roman dann 1950 endlich in der neu gegründeten Bundesrepublik erschien, wollte kaum eine Buchhandlung ihn verkaufen und nur wenige wollten ihn lesen. Man war mit anderem beschäftigt.Das Seminar findet als Kombination von synchronen (Zoom) und asynchronen Aktivitäten (Gruppen- und Einzelarbeit) statt. Alle synchronen Aktivtäten werden im für dieses Seminar vorgesehenen Zeitfenster (Donnerstag 14-16 Uhr) stattfinden. Bitte halten Sie sich dieses Zeitfenster unbedingt für das Seminar frei!
