Contents, comment

In der Veranstaltung werden überblicksartig grundlegende Theorien und Methoden der demographischen Forschung behandelt. Im Vordergrund stehen Konzepte zur Analyse demographischer Prozesse (Mortalität, Fertilität, Migration), des demographischen Wachstums, der demographischen Alterung und der demographischen Strukturen (u.a. Haushalte, Familien). Die Vorlesung konzentriert sich vor allem auf die natürliche Bevölkerungsentwicklung; Aspekte der räumlichen Bevölkerungsentwicklung (Migration) werden in einer folgenden Veranstaltung behandelt.
