Die Veranstaltung "Eventmanagement II" hat eine praxisorientierte Ausrichtung, die sich mit der Konzeption, Planung, Durchführung und Wirkungskontrolle von Events beschäftigt. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, einen Event professionell zu planen und durchzuführen, der auf einem eigenen Event- und Public-Relations-Konzept fußt. In der Post-Event-Phase werden die gewonnen Erkenntnisse einer dezidierten Bewertung unterzogen. Diese Veranstaltung wird von der "Fördergesellschaft für die Abteilung Sportwissenschaft und dem Hochschulsport der Universität Bielefeld e.V." begleitet und logistisch unterstützt.

Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme ist der Besuch des Seminars "Eventmanagement I" in den vorangegangenen Semestern. Die Veranstaltung umfasst insgesamt 4 SWS/4 LP und deckt für das Profil GuM im Modul BbS-3 die Veranstaltung "Grundlagen des Sportveranstaltungs- und Sportprogramm-Managements" ab.
