Das Seminar findet Online über Zoom statt. Eine Aufzeichnung der Sitzungen ist nicht geplant, da ein reger Austausch während den Sitzungen für die Veranstaltung zentral ist.
In diesem Seminar beschäftigen wir uns mit dem Konstrukt der Intelligenz. Wir werden das erworbene Wissen aus der Vorlesung „Konzeption der Persönlichkeit“ erweitern und bestimmte Aspekte vertiefen. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf theoretischen Modellen und empirischen Korrelate (z.B. Geschlecht, Persönlichkeit) sowie den Ursprüngen von interindividuellen Unterschieden in Bezug auf Intelligenz. Außerdem thematisieren wir die Entwicklung der Intelligenz über die Lebensspanne, kulturelle Unterschiede und die Rolle von Intelligenz zur Vorhersage von Leistungsaspekten

Die Veranstaltung wird für Studierende im dritten B.Sc. Semester Psychologie empfohlen.
Die Verteilung der Seminarplätze erfolgt in einer zentralen Sitzung.
