Seit einiger Zeit haben transnationale und weltgeschichtliche Perspektiven in der Geschichtswissenschaft Konjunktur. In der Veranstaltung werden die dabei angewandten Forschungsansätze des Vergleichs, des Transfers und der Verflechtung theoretisch erörtert und deren methodische Umsetzung exemplarisch analysiert. Die Auswahl einzelner Themen und Beispiele erfolgt gemeinsam in der ersten Sitzung.

Studierende, die die Veranstaltung im Modul Methodik belegen, erörtern eine Fragestellung in essayistischer Form (6-8 Seiten) oder gestalten eine Kurssitzung.
