Die Sommerakademie ist ein Intensivworkshop für Studierende der Universität Bielefeld, die unter fachlicher Anleitung, eine Woche Fernseharbeit erleben werden. Eine 20köpfige Redaktion wird jeden Tag aktuell von der Geniale berichten. Im Schaufenster der beiden großen Tageszeitungen, auf den Hallendisplays der Universität und im Internet sind die Ergebnisse täglich zu bestaunen. Redaktions-/Produktionsort wird das SCM in der Universität sein.
