This course will analyse representative examples of a wide range of Mid-Victorian fiction focussing on
(a) close textual analysis of the novels,
(b) the socio-cultural context of their emergence and
© their ongoing relevance for today.
3 Credit Points can be earned for an oral (group) presentation and a written essay on the topic of the presentation
