Die Veranstaltung unterstützt die Studierenden, eine empirische Forschungs- oder Projektarbeit bzw. Einzelfallstudie in dem von ihnen gewählten Bereich zu planen, umzusetzen und die Ergebnisse angemessen auszuwerten. Die Teilnehmer verfügen über methodische Kenntnisse, die ihnen eine fundierte Beurteilung und Reflexion empirischer Arbeiten in verschiedenen Bereichen der Grundlagen und Störungen von Sprache und Kommunikation erlaubt. Die Basisveranstaltung kann auch ohne die Übung besucht werden.
