Das Seminar "Computerbasierte Modellierung von Diskursen" gibt einen Überblick über das Spektrum computerlinguistischer, korpuslinguistischer und texttechnologischer Ansätze zur Repräsentation und Verarbeitung von Diskursen, ob nun in schriftsprachlicher, mündlicher oder multimodaler Form.
Thematisiert werden:
1. Theorien und Ansätze der Diskursstrukturierung und Diskursverarbeitung (Segmentierung, Klassifikation, Strukturierung, Parsing),
2. computerbasierte Repräsentation und Verarbeitung von Diskursen,
3. Grundlagen und Methoden für die computerbasierte Simulation sprachlicher Prozesse sowie
4. Systeme und Verfahren für die korpusbasierte Verwaltung, Analyse und Annotation von Diskurseinheiten.

Grundlegende Programmierkenntnisse wären wünschenswert.

Für den Erwerb eines Leistungsnachweises ist neben der aktiven Teilnahme die Anfertigung einer Hausarbeit im Üblichen Umfang erforderlich. Alternativ können nach Absprache auch kleinere Programmierarbeiten erstellt werden.
