Im Wahlpflichtteil des Literaturseminars führen die Studierenden selbstständig eine Literaturrecherche zu einem biologiedidaktischen Themengebiet durch. Die Ergebnisse werden als Seminarvortrag, als paper (vornehmlich zu den eigenen BSc-Daten), oder als Konzept für eine MEdu-Arbeit dem Plenum vorgestellt.
