Im Rahmen der Zweitsprachenerwerbs- und der Fremdsprachenlernforschung existiert
eine Vielfalt von Theorien, die den Lernprozess unterschiedlich erklären. Diese Theorien
bedürfen jedoch einer Ausdifferenzierung des jeweils prägnanten Schwerpunkts.

Das Seminar thematisiert dieses Zusammenspiel von Lerntheorien und Lernprozessen.
Nach einem systematischen Überblick werden die jeweiligen Theorieschübe hinsichtlich
ihrer Potenziale und Grenzen sowie der Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten ihrer Erkenntnisse im
Prozess des Fremdsprachenlernens kritisch untersucht. Ferner werden neuere empirische
Forschungsarbeiten zum Thema Lerntheorien und Lernprozesse im DaF-Unterricht
kritisch rezipiert. Außerdem wird reflektiert, welche Rolle Lernstrategien im Lernprozess
spielen und wie im Unterricht effiziente Lernprozesse für die jeweiligen Lernertypen
ausgelöst und unterstützt werden können. Schließlich sollen Studierende differenzierte
Prozessvorstellungen des (eigenen) Lernens erwerben.
Intensives Selbststudium in Form von Lektüre und Arbeitsaufgaben sind Teil der Lehrveranstaltung.
