Das Buch `Deutschland schafft sich ab` von Thilo Sarrazin hat wie kaum eine andere Veröffentlichung der letzten Jahre die öffentliche Meinung in der Bundesrepublik gespalten. Das Seminar behandelt einerseits die umstrittenen Thesen Sarrazins, deren Rezeption in Politik, Öffentlichkeit und Wissenschaft und stellt die Diskussion andererseits in den Kontext der Diskurse um Migration, Integration und Parallelgesellschaften.
