In dem Seminar werden Wege des methodisch kontrollierten Fremdverstehens aufgezeigt und erprobt, um den subjektiven und sozialen Sinn, der in den "Störungen" zum Ausdruck kommt, zu rekonstruieren. Dafür beschäftigen wir uns zunächst mit der Bedeutung des Verstehens in der erziehungswissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit "Verhaltensstörungen". Auf der Grundlage von Fallrekonstruktionen von "problembelasteten" Schülerinnen und Schülern sollen die sozialen und lebensgeschichtlichen wie die schulischen Konstellationen aufgezeigt werden, die sich auf die jeweilige Bildungsgeschichte und Entwicklung auswirkten. Methodische Vorgehensweisen rekonstruktiver Fallarbeit werden erarbeitet und erprobt. Dabei wird eine Leitfrage sein, wie in der (sonder)pädagogischen Praxis Interventionen durch dieses Vorgehen gestützt werden können und "Fallverstehen in der Begegnung" gestaltbar wird. Dieses Seminar ist zugleich vorbereitend für die praktische Durchführung der Fallstudie Teil II im Wintersemester.
