Multiple robots shall execute a cleaning task on a given environment, while acting fully autonomously and following an optimal strategy. Interpretation as multi agent system allows to apply methods like auctions and bargaining/negotiation in order to distribute subtasks among the robots. This distribution shall then be optimized iteratively by means of genetic methods.
In case this would not find enough interest for a team project, this project proposal would be also offered (in reduced/modified form)
[ ] as individual project
[x] as project for 2-3 students
Experience with multi agent systems, genetic algorithms and artificial intelligence/machine learning in general are helpful.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete. In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
