AG: Arbeitsgruppe Zoobiologie (die „Zoo-AG“)
1995 gründete sich an der Uni Bielefeld die selbstständige, damals studentische Arbeitsgruppe „Zoo-AG“ mit dem Ziel, zoobiologische Themen von allen Seiten zu betrachten. Seither treffen sich studierende und examinierte Interessierte alle 14 Tage, um sich mit dem Thema Zoo kritisch auseinander zu setzen. Über Eigenrecherchen, Gastvorträge oder auch Exkursionen direkt vor Ort werden Informationen zusammengetragen und diskutiert. Mittlerweile besteht ein großes Netzwerk zu diversen zoologischen Einrichtungen und ein Informationspool von Fachkompetenzen aus den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen (Tierpflege, Artenschutz, Forschung, Didaktik, Architektur, Ingenieurswesen etc.) wurde aufgebaut. Somit sind interessante Gastvorträge eine wesentlicher Bestandteil geworden. Die Mitarbeit in der AG besteht aus Beteiligung an Diskussionsrunden und Exkursionen. Diese AG kann alleine, oder in Verbindung mit dem Seminar „Aktuelle Themen der Zoobiologie“ besucht werden. Weitere Infos unter: www.zoo-ag.de
