250207 Radikalisierung in Sozialen Netzwerken (S) (SoSe 2020)

Nicht der seit dem Anschlag von Halle ist offenkundig, dass die internetbasierte Kommunikation heute eine tragende Rolle bei Prozessen politischer Radikalisierung spielt. Das Seminar vermittelt einen Überblick über die besonderen Dynamiken des Internets und insbesondere sozialer Medien, die gesellschaftliche Polarisierungs- und Desintegrationsprozesse begünstigen. Darüber hinaus werden (politisch-kulturelle Online-) Szenen und Radikalisierungsverläufe, insbesondere von radikalen Rechten, näher untersucht und Möglichkeiten der Prävention und Intervention diskutiert.
