Die historische Frage nach Jesus von Nazareth bewegt die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft und die Kirche als ganze spätestens seit dem 18. Jahrhundert; zu "verbindlichen" und womöglich historisch "sicheren" Ergebnissen ist die Jesusforschung aber bisher nicht gelangt. Unter Bezug auf die neutestamentlichen Texte und mit Rückgriff auf die gegenwärtige Diskussion soll gefragt werden, welche Antworten auf die historische Frage nach Jesus gegeben werden können.
