Dieses Seminar hat die Zielsetzung, dass die Studierenden empirische Studien gewinnbringend lesen und interpretieren können. Anhand der von den Studierenden selbst ausgewählten Studien sollen Kriterien für die Bewertung und Interpretation quantitativ-empirischer Studien kennengelernt und angewandt werden. Dabei stehen vor allem die kritische Einschätzung der Angemessenheit des Studiendesigns, der verwendeten Stichprobe sowie die "Übersetzung" der statistischen Befunde in interpretierbare Ergebnisse im Vordergrund der Auseinandersetzung mit empirischen Veröffentlichungen. Weiterhin soll die immer auch die Frage diskutiert werden, welche Relevanz empirische Studienergebnisse für die spätere pädagogische Handlungspraxis entfalten können.

Master of Arts: Voraussetzung ist die Einschreibung im Master of Arts Erziehungswissenschaft im SoSe 2020
Kenntnisse in quantitativen Forschungsmethoden auf Bachelor-Niveau
