Ziel
Die Veranstaltung soll den Studierenden ein grundsätzliches Verständnis für die Vielfältigkeit der Informatik und ihrer Bedeutung in der modernen Informationsgesellschaft vermitteln. Im Hinblick auf die berufsqualifizierende Ausrichtung des Studienganges soll ein Überblick über das breite Spektrum des intellektuellen Handwerkszeugs, das die Informatik bietet, gegeben werden. Die Studierenden sollen eine Vorstellungskraft für deren Einsatzmöglichkeiten entwickeln. Der Kurs bildet die Grundlage für spätere Anwendungen der Informatik im Bereich Public Health.
