Course Description
This course is a preparation course for the master seminar on Agent-based Modelling and Simulation, held in SS2010.
Course Objectives
In a 4 day block course, the objective is to give students a basic familiarity with programming in C and using FLAME (Flexible Large-scale Agent Modelling Environment). This will allow students to design, implement and analyse agent-
based models using the FLAME modelling environment.
Course Topics
The course topics include:
- Basic introduction to C Programming
- Programming using the FLAME modelling environment
- Overview of other useful tools
This course is mandatory for students who want to participate in the
Praktikum and Master Seminar on Agent-based Modelling and Simulation.
Documentation will be distributed in the course.
