Die Vorlesung „Einführung in die Wahrnehmungs- und Kognitionspsychologie für Nicht-Psychologen“ wendet sich an Studierende anderer Fakultäten, die weder im Kernfach Psychologie noch im Nebenfach Psychologie eingeschrieben sind. Sie behandelt die Bereiche visueller und auditiver Wahrnehmung, Aufmerksamkeit, Kurzzeit-, Langzeit-, sowie Arbeitsgedächtnis, Gedächtnisfehler, Wissensrepräsentation und Problemlösen. Neben aktuellen theoretischen Ansätzen sollen auch verschiedene methodische Paradigmen beleuchtet werden.
